Makan Singapore

Two more days and we are going off to Singapore. Again! It is going to be interesting this time around, as some people from the Singapore Disability Sports Council want to catch up with me and talk about my involvement in the development of their performance diagnostics lab. But who knows what these Executives are really up to. Maybe it is just one of those meetings that intends to get some valuable information from the Ang Moh (Singapore's and Malaysia's description for "white man"). As the meeting is scheduled at 7pm, I hope that they will not fail to offer me Nasi Lemak or Mee Goreng Mamak. And it goes without saying that a yummy Teh Tarik is a MUST. If they dare to give me some tasteless white food sandwiches, I will leave their building straight away and head off to the nearest Hawker Centre. Afterwards, I will have a DURIAN party with my wife and our Singapore friends at one of the amazing durian stalls on Geylang Rd.

So the questions is:  what's the real purpose of my upcoming Singapore trip?
